The first Construction Robotics Hackathon in Aachen brings construction challenges and real industrial robots together for one intensive weekend. From 27–29 November 2026, participants will work in interdisciplinary teams on real construction use cases using industrial robot arms, mobile robots including legged and wheeled platforms, sensors and modern software. Challenge areas include: • Assembly & Installation • Surface Finishing • Construction Logistics • Perception & Safety No robotics experience is required. Workshops, team matching and mentoring will help participants get started. Participation is free. Food and drinks are provided throughout the weekend. Overnight accommodation is available directly at the CTRL Lab, so participants can bring a sleeping bag and stay on-site. Teams consist of 3–5 people.
