Sustainable Finance Live 2026 is tapping into how sustainable finance can power social policy to impact daily life within communities, and to bring solutions to the high street and housing. The agenda targets a ‘liquidity layer’ required to bridge this gap. Driven by AI and open data, panellists will explore how financial systems can be remodelled to prioritise community needs, and how these communities can become integrated in financial processes. The hackathon will be in person starting in earnest on the same day as the conference but continuing online. Data, APi's and mentors will be made available from the UK Satellite Applications Catapult, Earth Observation Data Hub, One Planet, Grassroots economics and more. We will map individuals and teams to the appropriate problem statements that can be seen on the web page. There will be two classes of entrant for 'established teams' and 'emerging' teams. Winners will be included in editorial the post event report and interviewed on Finextra TV as per this example from last year https://www.finextra.com/videoarticle/3423/how-multi-ai-systems-can-reduce-exposure-to-nature-related-risks Entrants can get access to the topic and leaders in the space via the a one-day agenda of keynotes, panels at Sustainable Finance Live addressing the challenges in connecting institutional liquidity with local, social, and nature-based assets. By integrating social business and marketplace models with digital transformation and artificial intelligence, we are building the financial plumbing to scale local impact. We are bringing together banking and technology leaders, pension and public sector policy experts, environmental scientists, and community activists to solve the 'last mile' problem of capital, proving that we can — and must — prioritise people over profit.
